Showroom Manager

Type of position:Full Time
Department:Retail
Location:Kallang, Singapore
Date Posted:06 September 2026

Lead the floor. Build the team. Own the result.

This is a role for a retail leader who wants a showroom to call their own.
At King Living Kallang you will lead and inspire a team selling furniture people keep for decades — designed and engineered in Australia, and sold to a Singaporean customer who knows quality when they see it.

You are accountable for the whole picture: sales performance, customer experience, your people, operations and the way the showroom looks and feels every single day.

You lead by example. You are on the floor with your team, taking the difficult customer conversation, coaching in the moment, and setting the standard everyone else works to.

What You Will Own

Sales & Customer Experience   Achieve showroom targets and support every consultant to hit theirs. Guide customers through a consultative sale, keep satisfaction high, and resolve enquiries and complaints professionally.

Leadership & Team Development   Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team. Partner with People & Culture on recruitment, onboarding and development, and build a positive, performance-driven culture aligned to our values.

Showroom Operations   Manage rosters, staffing and attendance to meet demand. Oversee administration, showroom expenses, accurate pricing, orders, follow-ups and end-of-day processes.

Brand, Visual Merchandising & Safety   Partner with Visual Merchandising on updates and changeovers, coordinate stock and deliveries, keep inventory accurate, and maintain a strong workplace safety culture.

Market Awareness   Keep an eye on competitor activity and market trends in Singapore, and use what you see to sharpen how your team sells.

Who You Are

A natural leader who inspires and develops people — customer-obsessed, commercially sharp, and proud of the showroom you run.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in retail, ideally premium or luxury
  • Strong commercial acumen, comfortable managing showroom budgets and performance
  • Highly organised, with real attention to detail and operational discipline
  • A confident problem-solver who can negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Resilient and able to work at pace across competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with professional presentation
  • Experience in furniture, textiles, interior design or related industries preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and retail systems
  • Available to work weekends as part of your regular roster
